Transfers and Miracles

September 5, 2016

Hola familia y amigos,

Como estan? Estoy muy muy bien :)

So good news! My companion and I are staying together for another transfer!   So I will be sending her home in 6 weeks when she ends her mission. It's bitter sweet. We are excited to be staying together because we are starting to see lots of miracles, but it's also sad that we only have 6 weeks left together. But we are determined to make these next 6 weeks full of fun, hard work, and miracles.

So more exciting news! We have one of our investigators getting baptized this month! We are shooting for the 24th of this month! Her name is Alondra and she is 10. She is SUUUUPER excited to get baptized and her knowledge of God, Jesus Christ and this gospel is incredible. It always surprises me when I talk to kids because they are like sponges, they soak in everything they hear and they are so humble to be taught. Its just so awesome! :D

So one of our elder halves of our branch is heading home this week, so we got a goodbye picture with him! And also like half of our district is being changed as well. When we took the picture with our district the power actually went off so we had to do my last new missionary training in the dark, so that was fun haha!

I hope you are all have a great week!

Inspirational thought for the week: As we work on who God wants us to become, our to do list won't seem to be as much of a burden. So work on your to be list, and your to do list will become easier and you will do all that you need to.

I love you all!

Love,

Hermana Rebecca Lynn Barnes
